Our story begins in 2009 when a potential client and now good friend (let's call him "Bob") received our proposal and enthusiastically signed with Cosmic Solar for his solar installation. After ordering the materials, designing the system and finishing the installation, Bob was extremely pleased to say the least.
As it turns out, over the past few years Bob has reported the system is performing even better than expected and he's now become a great advocate for Cosmic Solar and our mission to serve the residents of Valley Center. He's even reported being "ahead this year" and is likely to receive a check from his utility company due to excess energy production. Great news, Bob, for when you purchase that electric car!
When presenting our proposal, we notified Bob about the California Solar Initiative rebates and he was very thankful a program like this existed. "You mean I'll be receiving that much money back from the state?" he questioned. "Yes, Bob, believe it or not!" We assured him this California Solar Initiative rebate was indeed real and informed him that, if for whatever reason, if the rebate happened to be more than the quoted amount, we'd be happy to hand over this extra rebate as well.
Well, as it turned out, last week we received an email from Bob's utility company, notifying him that he was in fact going to receive an additional $94 due to a new paperwork filing method. Despite being two years after his installation, we called Bob up right away to share with him the good news. An hour later we were at his door, securing his signature, and the $94 is now in route to his mailbox in Valley Center.
